A lifelong project realised

My name’s Alastair, and after 30+ years in the wine trade, my love of BYOB is not exactly a secret.

So, after decades of recommending places to friends and colleagues (my Yorkshire DNA quest for value being put to good use!), I decided to give myself a project: produce a guide that anybody who loves wine and food should enjoy using. 

I was surprised by how much inaccurate information there is online about BYOB restaurant listings, so although I initially spent over 200 hours on it and it’s now part of my weekly schedule, it’s totally worth it.
